✦ What is a zine?A zine, or specifically a fanzine, is a collaboration between creatives, compiled typically in either digital PDF form or physical book form! This zine will be physical, alongside featuring physical merch, with a digital merch bundle & NSFW digital-only side-zine.✦ How will contributors be compensated?We aim to compensate all contributors with a full zine bundle of all physical merchandise and access to all digital add-ons and merchandise. They will also have the option to purchase additional physical merchandise at production cost. Any remaining profits will be distributed between the mods and the contributors with a 30/70 split.✦ How old do I have to be to apply?Both Moderators and Contributors must be 18+ by the time applications close.✦ Will gore & violent themes be allowed?Yes, but it won't be the sole focus of the zine! We want to provide a mix of content so it won’t be all blood & gore.✦ Are ships allowed in this zine?The main zine will be fully Dottore-centric. Other characters may appear in your contributions, but Dottore should remain the main focus of your piece. Ships will not be involved in the main zine.However, there will be space for ships in the NSFW add-on. This includes ships between Dottore's segments. Solo Dottore NSFW works are also more than welcome. Yumeships or OCS will not be allowed due to the canon-compliant/canon-adjacent nature of this zine.✦ Can I feature segments other than The Omega Build (Segment 35) in my contribution or my portfolio?Of course! Zandik, The Omega Build, and any one of Dottore's segments can be depicted. This is entirely up to the contributor, though we strive for each of the segments to be shown some love!✦ Will AUs or fan-interpretations be featured in this zine?Initia Haereticī will feature canon-compliant or canon-adjacent contributions. However, fan-interpretations such as femttore, transgender headcanons, darker skin tones, or alternative outfits may be included in this zine.✦ Do I need a certain amount of followers or experience to apply?Contributors do not need to have any prior zine experience to apply.Follower count will not be considered when reviewing applications. The only thing that matters to us is that you're skilled at what you do, and share the same passion for Dottore as we do!✦ Will you be vetting contributors based on their following or social media profile?We will not be judging the applicants based on their interests or other ships they enjoy. The only thing we will be looking into besides the application portfolio is behavior - we do not tolerate any form of harassment or discrimination. As such, applicants who have a known history of harassment/bigotry/inflammatory behavior will not be considered due to the reason above.✦ Can I buy this zine as an international buyer?The zine will be available worldwide. However, due to various factors outside of our control, shipping may be delayed or otherwise affected. We are currently unable to ship to the following countries: Bhutan, Cuba, Haiti, Iran, Kiribati, North Korea (DPRK), Turkmenistan.This list has been put together from the official sources of the countries our mods will be shipping from: USA and Czechia.✦ My question isn't listed here.
